Galway Christmas Market
The Galway Christmas Market will be returning once more to Eyre Square! This market is seen to attract over 600,000 people over its 30-day duration and of course access to the market is completely free!
With it being no different to any other year of the festival with an array of entertainment and stalls located in Eyre Square in Galway City Centre. The amusements will be back in action which include a 32 metre high Big Wheel and traditional Carousel, Santa’s Express Train, live music performers, puppet shows, storytelling, school choirs and a Santa’s Grotto to be run by local charities.
There will also be a range of different food offerings on the menu with bratwurst, pastries, pretzels or confectionary, crêpes and waffles! It is the perfect scene for a romantic or scenic family walk through the enchanted light gardens providing the backdrop for a spectacular Christmas Market photo which will ignite the memories of a lifetime! On your walk you can also stop off at Santa’s post-box to make sure your presents will be on the way Christmas Eve. If it is looking for the perfect Christmas gift for a loved one the market also holds host to many artisan food products from both indigenous and European traders!
